One month in and I’m back up to my regular distance running in my barefoot shoes. Took a while to get comfortable but I can feel a huge difference in my legs.
14-hour workday and takeout Thai food for dinner. Now I feel like a true 20-something.
Having a mass spectrometry conference share a floor with the Automattic company meetup rooms provides for some pretty funny juxtapositions. They’re in suits. We’re in t-shirts.
Getting some light work done before flying up to Spokane for this weekend. Soundtrack for the morning has been Sonny Clark. Damn I love working from home. 
I finally picked up a new pair of running shoes and am giving a barefoot pair a shot. Went with the Merrell Trail Glove. First run this afternoon in them was great. Related protip, don’t go 14 months between running shoe purchases.
Just updated to WP for iOS 3.1. Pretty solid improvement in things. I love that I can use post formats in the app now.
Distributed companies, where you can conduct an interview with someone in England while you’re in Amsterdam for the week. I love my job.
First full day in Amsterdam and it is absolutely pouring rain. We went to see the Anne Frank house this morning and came back drenched. Of course it’s 80 degrees and sunny in Portland.
Original plan this morning was to hike Table Mountain with Daniel and Leah. The weather prevented that, though, so the backup plan was raspberry pancakes with vanilla ice cream. Yum.
